Description:
|
CAMBRIDGE. The decor isn't the focus at this Harvard Square raw stop, but folks clamor for its fresh sushi, prepared to perfection and at very reasonable rates. Cafe Sushi has been part of the neighborhood scene since the early '80s, and their experience shines through in the terrific rolls. In fact, local rumor has it that the fresh mackerel can't be beat. |

| | The sushi are very fresh and the stuff is polite, respectful and sincere. While the decor is simple, the quality of the sushi is the same if not better as at [other places]. Price are also very reasonable, cheaper then at [other places]. I've been a customer there for several years and never had a negative experience. In fact, sometimes I found more pieces of sashimi on my plate then specified in the menu. What a nice perk! |

| | Coming from the Bay Area (San Francisco, CA) we have some of the best Japanese restaurants with fresh fish and excellent ambiance. What Cafe Sushi lacks in ambiance they make up for in quality of food. If you are by yourself, sit at the sushi bar and watch the chef prepare wonderful and colorful maki rolls; who knows, he just might give you a little piece to try. One last thing — the Hamachi Kama (the cheek of the fish) was excellent. If you have not tried it you are missing out on a wonderful experience for your sushi soul. I'll definitely go back and recommend it to friends. |

| | This is actually a great little sushi place. Despite the fact that the owner seems to like writing their own reviews!! |
