Bandera
(Restaurants - American)
535 N Michigan Ave, Chicago  60611 • 312-644-3524
Distance: ~0.45 mi from The Fairmont Chicago
Description: MAGNIFICENT MILE. Expect a crowd at this lunch hotspot. Bandera serves superb American fare, and the selection of entrees ranges from roast prime rib to jambalaya. Ask a local, and they'll likely tell you that neglecting Bandera's famous cornbread is an unforgivable mistake. The Western-style interior offers a cozy respite, especially on "brisk" winter afternoons. The authentic wood-burning stove is a nice touch.

Pricing: Average Main Course Price: $20.00

The people were fantastic. The meal wonderful, and the dessert sinfully delicious. We will return on our next trip to Chicago this year. Thank you!

My husband and I have been going to Bandera for many years. The service is great and the food very good. Try going the end of May or beginning of June for the Copper River Salmon. Also the grilled artichoke is the best I have ever had. Don't forget to sit by the window for people watching.
