I've eaten at Bice for years and have NEVER had a less than wonderful meal. The appetizers alone are enough for a meal. The service is excellent. The seafood risotto is fabulous. It is a small restaurant in an excellent location with no doubt about the quality of anything on the menu. And the bread.....!!!

Rude and pushy wait staff! The entire ambience (loud, pretentious, and trying-too-hard-to-be-hip) makes otherwise good food taste sour. Pick one of the other fine northern Italian choices available in this great city...Spiaggia, Coco Pazzo...

I I left this restaurant feeling that the food was average and the staff was rude and did not care about service. I asked 3 times for butter for my bread before being told they did not have it. I asked for the check 4 times before receiving it - this was after asking 3 different people. Our waiter never did bring it. When presented with the bill, I was overcharged because I had asked for a different sauce. This should not increase my bill. In fact, they did not give me my meal with the ingredients listed on the menu. I received shrimp but no artichoke. When I mentioned this to my server, he said I changed it and walked away. He did not offer to try to satisfy me. In fact, at first he refused to allow me to change the sauce. This was a surprise because the person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and told me the chef would make to order. This certainly was not the case… I paid $ 18.95 for a bowl of pasta with 5 very small shrimp.
