Town's End Restaurant and Bakery
(Restaurants - Latin American)
2 Townsend St, San Francisco  94107 • 415-512-0749
Distance: ~1.35 mi from The Fairmont San Francisco
Description: EMBARCADERO. This friendly restaurant, located at the Embarcadero, is just two blocks from the "New" Giants Stadium and offers great bay views. Brunch is a near-perfect experience, according to regulars. Baskets of home-baked breads, smoked mozzarella frittata, crab cakes, and oatmeal pancakes studded with nuts and fruit are constant favorites. Although the wait can be long (other folks know about Town's End's appeal too!), brunch is well worth the delay.

This place has a very nice view of the Bay Bridge and the Bay. The Neighborhood Special is a great deal. You get soup/salad, main course and dessert for $14. Portions are perfect, in fact you may not have room for dessert. I did not think much of the dessert menu but I tried the crème brûlée which was nice and creamy. The Mango pound cake with crème fresh was a little dry for my taste. Good place to try though!
