Description: FISHERMAN'S WHARF. This area cafe serves as an especially pleasant stop for late-nighters looking to have a drink with friends. It's also notable for having been a setting in the movie "When a Man Loves a Woman," with Meg Ryan. Drinks range from cocktails to specialty coffees, and the Irish coffee has earned quite a loyal following. Expect crowds too, because the place's reputation is strong, thanks to tasty bar food and great views of the waterfront.

Had at least 100 Irish there between 1989 and 1998... Like the potato peels and the St. Pauli Girl beer Enjoy!

This spot is as "San Franciscoish" as it gets! Expect to stand up cause it's ALWAYS mobbed, 3 and 4 deep at the bar. They're credited with inventing the Irish Coffee, although you'll get an argument when in Dublin. Great fun though, to watch the bartenders line up 15 to 20 glasses and mass produce them! Great view down Bay St. to the water, a must when in S.F.
