(Restaurants - Southwestern)
7014 E Camelback Rd Scottsdale Fashion Square, Scottsdale  85251 • 480-946-4171
Distance: ~9.88 mi from Fairmont Scottsdale
Description: SCOTTSDALE. An interior of mellow wood and Texas limestone defines the casual atmosphere of this privately-owned chain. Dishes come from a variety of backgrounds but share a common Southwestern flair. Signature items include voodoo tuna and miso glazed salmon. You can also choose from pork roast vera cruz, wild mushroom enchiladas, and herb-grilled chicken. An array of appetizers, salads and sandwiches satisfy lighter appetites. For dessert, give ancho chili fudge pie a try; the chili's delicate heat intensifies the rush of chocolate. In the evening, the bar mixes up terrific margaritas and plays host to a crowd of stylish professionals.

My husband and I ate at the one in Chandler. Both our meals were absolutely wonderful!!!! We scanned the dessert menu prior to ordering and decided to save room for the bread pudding. When the dessert came out our eyes probably got as big as silver dollars because it was so huge. Well, much to our disappointment...it had NO flavor. I asked for more sauce...didn't help. I don't like to compare but I would recommend you trying the bread pudding at The Rockfish on the north side of Chandler mall. Their pudding was served warm and with a sauce you want to lick off the plate. That kind of bread pudding is what I was expecting after the awesome meal we had eaten at your restaurant. Just thought I'd give you some feed back. Thanks again for the enjoyable dinner. I have recommended your restaurant to family and friends.
