Description:

SCOTTSDALE. Serving innovative American cuisine with Italian, Southwestern, and Mexican influences, Cowboy Ciao also features eye-catching decor, thanks in part to a star-studded ceiling. The varied menu includes elk strip loin with mushroom risotto, and roasted pork shank with cumin, chipotle, paprika, and Mexican oregano. The signature dish – exotic mushroom pan fry – consists of wild mushrooms in ancho cream sauce over polenta, and it is divine. The wine list is extensive, and the dessert menu is truly irresistible. |

| | Yummy! The staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend Cowboy Ciao if you want a unique dining experience. Not your typical menu. |

| | Reservations were made earlier and we were seated on time. NO rushing, and a charming wait staff took time to explain options on wine and food. Our party of three grazed on the signature stir fry and Stetson Chop Salads before attacking Filets. Food was served with flair, beautifully presented and exactly to order. Mixed drinks were perfect!! And the suggested import beers were tops. Wines flights were wonderful! Chef John came by our table and congratulated our 85-year old birthday boy. An absolutely wonderful evening. Our guest said it best, "I've 'eaten' many places in Phoenix, but this is the first time I have truly 'dined'". |

| | I've been to Scottsdale twice and both times made a point of eating here. The food is innovative and absolutely delicious. Best chopped salad I've ever had. Servers are informed, friendly, but not cloying. An altogether terrific dining experience. |
