Montana's Cookhouse
(Restaurants - Continental)
5562 Richmond Rd SW Signal Hill Centre, Calgary  • 403-217-1100
Distance: ~7.507 km from The Fairmont Palliser
Description: Western in theme, decor and food, this casual establishment offers up hearty, rustic fare that harks back to Calgary's early days. This is food for cowboys and those who perform physical labor (and anyone who likes meat, for that matter). You'll find steaks, burgers, rotisserie chicken and ribs at the top of the menu, along with southwestern-influenced dishes like quesadillas, fajitas, chili, pastas and the like. Desserts are just as substantial and require a bit of reserve space in your belly. A kid's menu takes care of those who are just developing an adult appetite, and the bar serves up the modern-day equivalent of white lightning and moonshine. Saddle up!
Hours:
Sun-Fri 11am-11pm; Sat 11am-Midnight

The Montana's in Saskatoon has less desirable food than other Montana’s. An example, the Montana's in the Calgary Airport. I was strongly encouraged to have their nachos, I reluctantly did so, as the nachos in Saskatoon are POOR. The nachos in Calgary were delicious, lots of cheese and excellent quality. Kindly have the Saskatoon restaurant come a bit closer to other ones. Thank you.

My family and I travel. We have used your facility and have always had a great experience. I was very displeased with your Calgary operation at the airport January 4, 2005. My server was Erin and the shift was approximately 3:00 P.M. She was rude and not at all helpful. I had to ask a different server on two occasions to intervene and help me get my food. It was not busy so I was confused with the lack of service. I always use the 3 strike rule in dealing with people. I think I could use the 23 strike rule with Erin and she still would not get it. I am in the customer service industry and I know we sometimes fall short of customers expectations. Being sensitive to this I am always very forgiving to people who work in the customer service industry. I have never been so dissatisfied with an individual in my purchasing experience. I am 51 years old and will continue to use your facility. I hope this will be of some value to your business.
