Description:
|
In a building more contemporary than traditional pubs, this two-story venue, sheathed in wood and stone, is still a worthy contender on the city's best-pubs list. It features a large bar area, along with more private spaces and balconied areas both upstairs and down. Beer is the beverage of choice, as befits an Irish bar, and Guinness holds court as one of the most popular, although other options do exist. Pub food includes most of the usual suspects, including Irish stew and even haggis (just eat it – don't ask what's in it). If you want to while away the day, you're free to hang out and watch TV or chat up some of the other patrons at the bar. |
