| | Outremont holds a lifetime of memories for me. Joyce Park, with it's playground, tennis courts and gardens, Pratt Park with it's lake and meandering streams and small bridges, fantastic turn-of-the-century homes and mansions, ice-cream in the summertime at Robil's (now le Bilbouquet) on Bernard Ave., and pizza from Pendeli's after school, among other things! When you go to Outremont, you forget the rest of the world. You step into another time and place. And you never want to leave... |
