Description: This complex has been a mainstay on Crescent Street since 1967, and helped usher in the nightlife for which the area has become famous. In addition to two outdoor terraces overlooking Crescent, there are three floors, each with its own distinct personality: the cozy Sir Winston Churchill Pub, the more upscale Winnies Bar and Restaurant, and a stylish dance club/lounge called Karina. In the pub, enjoy a game of pool or darts and a pint of your favorite beer, a pitcher of sangria or a cocktail. If it's food you're after, try Winnies Bar and Restaurant, where you'll find a great selection of traditional and international fare (the same menu is offered in the pub). Finally, there's Karina, a sleek space where world class DJs keep the grooves coming into the wee hours.

It's a really cool place to hang out with friends, take a beer, or go dancing.

On Wednesday March 23/05 at 4.00pm I sat. I asked a young lady [waitress] for a Bloody Caesar. Although it was not her table she nevertheless supplied me with a menu and seemed to vanish.!!. I noticed a gentleman who seemed to be the Manager. Regrettably I blew my stack told this chap my feelings and took off. I had a great couple of B/C's and dinner down the street. I am a local, having lived in Montreal for 70+ years and live up the street. Unlike the guy who asked the airline ticket lady in a long line-up I know who I am. Nobody. The "Pursuit of Excellence" should be reviewed. Permit me to close thusly: "I do not resent criticism, even when, for the sake of emphasis, it parts for the time with reality." Speech, House of Commons, 22 Jan. 1941 ---Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill.
