Yes, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, even Canadians! Of course, in Quebec some 40% of the population claims Irish ancestry, so perhaps that claim is a bit more valid here than in some other places. The festive parade wends its way down Sainte-Catherine Street, from du Fort to Saint-Urbain Streets and has more than 4000 participants and 40 floats. |
