Description:

LAC-SUPÉRIEUR. One of the gems of the Laurentian Mountains, this immense park consists of pristine wooded areas, tranquil valleys, glorious waterfalls and fishing streams that are second to none. Must-dos during any visit to the park include stops at Chute du Diable and Chute aux Rats, beautiful Lac Monroe (hiking, swimming and camping available) and the 3000-plus foot "Trembling Mountain" itself, whose name and history are rooted in Algonquin myth. Access to the park varies by season, so check with the park office before planning your trip. |
