Description:

Toronto kicks off a month of holiday festivities with a tree lighting ceremony the last weekend of November. The buildings surrounding Nathan Phillips Square are decorated with red, white and green lights, making the display even more cheerful. For three weekends, visitors can also enjoy free Saturday evening concerts, fireworks and ice skating. Several neighborhoods join in the fun with their own unique light displays. The event culminates with a big outdoor New Year’s Eve bash. |
