Description:
|
Old World pub style dominates this place, which runs rife with posters, photos and memorabilia. Dark woods and etched glass dividers contribute further to the theme, and there's charm throughout. Classic pub food satisfies the stomach, and 10 Irish whiskies, 32 draft beers, and 55 scotches do their part to aid digestion. At the huge central bar, fun comes in a glass, and friends gather to spread it around, reminisce, and just hang out. Everyone is welcome, and a mug of Guinness breaks down all barriers. So have a bite to eat, raise a glass, and do your part to make the world a smaller place. |

| | I love this place. Each and every time I visit Banff, I insist on going. They have the best pub food I've ever found. |

| | We've been in most of the pubs in the Rockies and this one is hard to beat. It’s a great place to unwind with a cool (or warm) beer after hiking or skiing the backcountry. We always stop at the St. James Pub to wrap up backpacking trips in Banff and Yoho National Park. Add this stop to your list if you want to escape the crowds in Banff and enjoy some good food & drink in one of western Canada's best English-style pubs. |
