TADOUSSAC. If you want to hone your knowledge of "whale-ology," CIMM is the place to do it. Located adjacent to the Tadoussace Marina, the center offers a variety of traditional and hands-on exhibits – including a device that allows people to time their breathing against that of whales. There are also videos, slide shows and a half-scale model of one of the world's largest fin-back whales. To find out where the most recent whale-sightings have occurred, take a look at the pinpoint map, which is updated daily. Information about other types of marine-life found in the Saint Lawrence is also available. |
