Description:

Kingmik has offered dogsled trips in Banff National park since 1982. They utilize several trails around Lake Louise, and sleds can accommodate two adults. There are several options including a quick 30-minute introduction to mushing, and a two-hour immersion that has you driving the sled on the way home. Most of the dogs are leaner, shorter-haired Alaskan Huskies, as opposed to the bulkier Malamutes and Siberian Huskies. All are expert athletes and speedy, in addition to being affable and charming.
