SAINTE-ANNE-DE-BEAUPRÉ. This economuseum focuses on two arts: woodcarving and storytelling. The woodworkers here draw inspiration from the various legends and Québec history, creating detailed works of art depicting characters and scenes from those stories. Some of the artists are expert storytellers as well, who will regale you with an exciting tale from Québec's past. Watch the artists as they carefully carve delicate hands and faces, plants and animals, then take a stroll through the outdoor sculpture garden, full of captivating wood characters. The boutique has an amazing assortment of beautiful hand-carved items. |
