Kimo's
(Restaurants - Seafood)
845 Front St, Lahaina  96761 • 808-661-4811
Distance: ~20.29 mi from The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui
Description: LAHAINA. This two-story, oceanside restaurant is perennially popular with tourists to Lahaina. Naturally, great views and affordable prices are a draw, but the food is what really sells the place. A variety of fresh fish is delivered daily; guests can choose to have theirs crusted with parmesan cheese, baked with ginger and orange zest, or broiled with a teriyaki glaze. Seafood Newburg in cream sauce and Shrimp Tahitian, sauteed with wine and butter, are also great options. Steak, chicken, sandwiches, and burgers are available too, depending on the time of day, and you're always free to nurse a cold drink and watch the world go by. If you do, make sure to have a slice of hula pie with its cookie crust and chocolate topping. It doesn't get sweeter than this.

I f you can, get a table at waterside. This is one of the oldies but goodies of Maui. We've dined there at least a dozen times over the years and we always come back. Even if you're not going to dine there, it has one of the most atmospheric bar areas in all the islands---don't miss this spot!!!
