Hana Japanese
(Restaurants - Sushi)
101 Golf Course Dr DoubleTree Plaza, Rohnert Park  94928 • 707-586-0270
Distance: ~12.89 mi from The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa
Description: ROHNERT PARK. It would be easy to overlook this gem of a Japanese joint, located in an otherwise run-of-the-mill strip center between Santa Rosa and Petaluma. The eatery, with its clean lines and minimalist aesthetic, is reminiscent of trendy Bay Area sushi joints. Hana earns a fair amount of local press for its superb sushi – rolls like the Sake Kawa (grilled salmon skin, daikon sprouts, and pickled burdock root), New York (tobiko, cucumber, and avocado), and Dragon (eel and avocado with shrimp tempura and daikon sprouts). If you're feeling truly bold, unagi-and-foie-gras nigiri is worth sampling. Reservations taken.
Hours:
Mon-Thu 11:30am-2:30pm, 5pm-9pm; Fri-Sat 11:30am-2:30pm, 5pm-9:30pm; Sun 5pm-9pm
Pricing: Average Main Course Price: $22.00

I've eaten a lot of restaurants, from New York to LA, Paris to Florence. Hana is truly one of the finest culinary experiences one can have. The owner is an experienced sushi chef who is hands on. If you sit at the sushi bar, chances are the owner will hand you whatever amazing sushi you have ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant!
