Description: ADAMS-MORGAN. Columbia Station sponsors live jazz concerts every night of the week. If you expect to get a good seat, though, you have to show up early. While you wait, look over the unusual artwork on the walls. Around 10pm, the show begins, and the room floods with local jazz music. Terrific performances! Dress is casual to business casual but nothing too fancy. METRO: Woodley Park/Zoo or Dupont Circle

Man, the band I saw there was awesome – off the hook! I think their name was Kandi ... that's what the young lady told me. I really had a good time.

i agree with J's review. I remember that bartender, BUT ... he's not there anymore. The new staff is very friendly and always gives good service, i think you should give it a try again. Plus the bands are really good.

My wife and I used to go on a regular base to Columbia Station to have some drinks and listen to Jazz. Tonight we just had dinner before we visited our favorite jazz venue in DC. My wife wanted to sit down first for 5 minutes, before having a drink. The bartender insisted us to order at least two drinks right away because of company policy. After a series of comments of the bartender we decided to leave Columbia Station to never come back again. We go out on average 3 to 5 times a week. I have never, in any other city or country experience such bad service.
