Description: SUNSET. Bucking expectation, suburban Kendall is home to some of Miami's best sushi. Over the years, Shibui has earned a faithful following with its carefully prepared Japanese fare, which includes teriyaki chicken, tempura vegetables and impeccable sushi. The extensive menu marries these classics with specialties like the Caliente roll, made with tempura mahi mahi and dressed with a zingy sauce. The popularity of Shibui assures that the ingredients are the freshest possible. The experience of their chefs assures that the quality of the ingredients is the best possible, as well. The service is also very good, because even though the place is always full, the food is quickly served and the help is friendly and attentive. Aside from the standard sushi fare, there are great Shibui dishes too. I have been a regular for the past 12 years because it is the best in Miami. Better than Ran-Getsu in Orlando, (which is quite good) yet not as expensive. As good as Japonica in New York. The only bad thing is they don't open for lunch. I don't mind, as long as dinner is so good. If I had the money I would eat at Shibui at least twice a week.
