Since winter is such a big part of life in Calgary, the city decided it merited a celebration all its own. This event shows the populace all the fun that can be had in the midst of snow and ice, whether it's in the form of cultural , sporting or children's events. In the course of the festival, you'll find ice carving, human curling competitions, an ice playground, musical performances, strong-man face-offs and displays of arts and crafts. |
