Just when the winter doldrums seem like they’re here to stay – that’s when the perfectly timed Le festival Montréal en lumière is scheduled. Among the many individual events are wine and food tastings, art exhibits, concerts and theatre shows. At the Hydro-Québec Celebration of Light, you can sit around a bonfire sipping hot cocoa and watching strolling entertainers or a fireworks display. It all keeps the downtown area bustling and cheerful. Some events are free; many performances are ticketed. |
