The National Gallery of Canada is known for its impressive architecture as well as a world-class collection of Canadian art. Among the exhibits you can enjoy fine examples of art from the Group of Seven, Aboriginal works, photography, sculpture and paintings from the 1700s onward. Works from European artists such as Corot, Chagall and Picasso are here, and the museum has a good collection of contemporary art from Canada and the US. Guided tours are free – contact for times. |
