In honor of the unification of the Canadian provinces, this nationally-held celebration is somewhat like the US's Fourth of July events. Parades, concerts and performances of all sorts are held, fireworks are ignited at 11pm, and a cornucopia of food is available for consumption. Children's activities are also available, along with an art exhibition and a host of other festivities. Ideal for the entire family. |
