Description:
This enticing dance spot is one of Vancouver's most popular – and it has been for more than two decades now. For much of the week, Richard's features live bands, both local and touring acts, including performers like Prince, Branford Marsalis and Philosopher Kings. On weekends, however, DJs spin, and patrons fill the dance floor, grooving to reggae, rock, R&B and house tunes. The place's lively ambience can be attributed to splashy decor, high-tech laser lights, a terrific sound system and a well-dressed crowd.
