Description:
Edohei was the first sushi restaurant in town, and most folks still consider it the best. The original Edohei restaurant opened in Tokyo in 1933; the owner of Winnipeg's Edohei was trained at the Japanese restaurant and chose the name when he opened his own place in 1988. Supremely fresh sushi and sashimi make up the bulk of the menu, but you can also find noodles dishes and donburi. A perennial favorite.
