Description:
The Mennonites were founded in the Netherlands in 1525 – a group came to the Steinbach area in the 1870s. Costumed guides lead you around the village and through a blacksmith shop, general store, church and replica windmill. The tour starts in the museum, where you'll learn a history of the Mennonites and their immigration to Manitoba. After your tour, enjoy a traditional meal at the Livery Barn restaurant.
