Description:
The decor is unassuming, but it necessarily plays second fiddle to the authentic Korean cuisine. The menu doesn't have a large number of items, but each one is spelled out in detail to give you a leg up on unfamiliar dishes. Soups and stews are chock full of good things, and individual barbecues permit grilling at your own table. You'll also find noodle dishes, hot pots, and rice entrees. Accompanying them are bul-go-gi (grilled meats), bi-bim-bab (fried rice), and kim-chi (fermented, spiced vegetables). A taste for some of these side dishes must be acquired, but it's a good idea to sample a few and begin to expand your palate.
