Description:
The Dunes Interpretation Center, located at the base of a high cliff in Saguenay Park, is actually a historic old stone house (circa 1922). This should be a primary stop for bird-lovers, especially those visiting the breathtaking Saguenay Fjord for the first time. In the fall of the year, the Tadoussac Dunes area becomes a major stopover point for several species of migratory birds. If exploring is your thing, several worthwhile trails begin at the Center and wind around the dunes area and surrounding cliffs, ultimately bringing you right on top of the mighty Saint Lawrence.
