Description:
Whistler isn't just about skiing! During the summer, this gondola ferries folks up the side of Whistler Mountain, where there are some 45km of hiking trails. The trip takes about 20 minutes and once you disembark you can follow a variety of signposted paths that open up vista after vista – bring a camera. If you don't quite trust your map skills, the resort leads guided tours each day at 11:30am. You can go even higher up (for even grander views) by taking the Peak Chairlift.
