Description:
Formerly named the Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery, this facility regained its original prominence under the ownership of Francis Ford Coppola, the notable director and producer responsible for "The Godfather" trilogy and other award-winning films. The elegant, ivy-walled estate features lovely tasting rooms, a hand-carved staircase, stained glass windows, and classic stone cellars. Guests may take guided tours of the chateau and grounds, including its century-old vineyards. Tastings held each day feature the estate's acclaimed Rubicon, Blancaneaux, and Estate wines. Various tours address estate history, grape-growing, and wine-making; they typically require reservations, and their costs are in addition to the basic guest fee.
