Description:
After destruction in both the 1906 and 1989 earthquakes, the Stanford Museum was brought to life once again in 1999 as the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University. Within more than 25 galleries are a magnificent selection of photography and a strong collection of 18th and 19th century American art. Other holdings include a substantial assortment of Mediterranean antiquities, and a fabulous sculpture garden.
