Description:
Built in 1902 by the son of the co-founder of Proctor & Gamble, the house and gardens were restored to their former glory in 1985 when the city of Palo Alto established a non-profit foundation for the 2.3-acre property. The gardens are divided into three areas: the formal garden with heirloom roses and wisteria, the woodland garden with a tea house, camellias and shade plants, and the working garden with annuals, perennials and fruit trees. This is a place to take your time and enjoy.
