Description:
The sophisticated, log-cabin décor of this inviting room is both cozy and stylish. Beamed ceilings, a stone fireplace, hanging quilts, and dried flower arrangements set guests at ease, preparing them for a relaxing evening of good conversation and great food. The Canada-proud menu boasts maple leaf duck breast, roasted venison striploin, British Columbia salmon, and Alberta beef in a variety of cuts. Pork and seafood also make appearances, and appetizers (ragoût of rabbit, wild mushroom ravioli) hold their own amid the terrific entrees. Desserts include a dark chocolate pâté and the Lake Beauvert pastry canoe, which sports cranberry mousse, strawberries, and a chocolate paddle. Just try to resist!
