        Description: Held the first Saturday in December, this Christmas extravaganza features holiday floats, antique cars, bands, large inflatable balloons and an appearance by Santa Claus. A children's activity area and vendor booths will be set up in City Hall Plaza. The weather usually is mild but chilly, and though crowds are large, finding a good spot along the parade route is fairly easy. For the best view possible, call ahead to reserve bleacher seats in the grandstand near the Adolphus Hotel.

Attendance frequently tops 70,000, and pre-game activities – which include luncheons, conferences, and a parade – are just as popular as the game itself!

        Description: The old west lives on in Ft. Worth. The Stock Show and Rodeo at the historic Will Rogers Memorial Center is an annual tradition that draws hundreds of thousands from across the country. The entire city supports the Stock Show, which opens with a large parade through downtown, and is a mix of business and pleasure. Rodeo competitions are held, as well as livestock auctions and commercial exhibitions for local ranchers. Every day, a number of activities for the public are offered, from horse riding clinics to celebrity goat milking. A Best of Mexico  
"Celebracion" honors the Mexican traditions that have become part of the city's western heritage. Music, bronc riding, a carnival/midway, trick roping, and bull riding will all be a part of this three week event.

        Description: This massive festival sprawls throughout Fair Park – a celebration of all things Celtic! Dozens of local, national and international bands play traditional Irish ballads, instrumentals, modern rock and pub songs; dance troupes showcase their talents; and roaming entertainers make everyone smile. Food and beverage vendors offer up a bounty of traditional Irish goodies as well as Irish beer and Texas fair favorites; at other booths you’ll find arts and crafts and Irish and Scottish imports. You’ll see lots of folks wearing kilts, and dogs are welcome (as long as you keep them on a leash and clean up after them).

Entertaining crowds in the past have been groups like the "Patty O' Furniture Psycho Killer Drill Team,” the tap-dancing grandmothers, and leprechauns on Harleys.
