An elaborate display of Christmas trees and floats transform the park into a holiday village each winter – one geared towards children and complete with a train, workshops and elves. The exhibit officially opens with a City Tree Lighting in late November and remains through the end of the season. Come visit with Old Saint Nick, and don't forget your camera! |

Description:
The Cinequest San Jose Film Festival, which was started by a group of local filmmakers in order to promote innovation in film and appreciation for the filmic arts, takes place at several venues throughout the city. The schedule usually includes a variety of screenings, guest lecturers, and demonstrations. Famous names who have participated in past festivals include Kevin Spacey, Wes Craven, Peter Fonda, and Gus Van Sant. Most screenings take place at the Camera 3 Cinema. The festival takes place in late February to early March. |
