Description:
This nature preserve, created in 1906, protects a well-loved stretch of Albertan wilderness. Along with 250 species of birds, it also shelters bison, deer, elk and moose, allowing them to wander freely through the woods and wetlands. Visitors to the park take advantage of the nature trails, camp sites, picnic areas and golf course. There's also opportunity for canoeing, picnicking, skiing and hiking. Located 30 miles east of Edmonton. |
