Description:
Affordable, casual and ideal for families, this easy-going restaurant is perfect for spur-of-the-moment dining or when you want good, reliable fare. The rustic decor, heavy with wood and stone, lacks pretense and comfortably accommodates diners young and old. The restaurant's real draw is its well-seasoned steaks, although the selection of seafood, pasta, chicken and ribs gets high marks too. At the Caribou Lodge restaurant, the Keg's original Banff location, you'll also find a well-received breakfast buffet. No matter which one you try though, you'll be welcomed and guaranteed to have a good meal. |

Description:
This hip, intimate dining room boasts a fireplace with a sensuous copper hood and a chandelier of wrought iron and sculpted glass. Taupe, sage and chocolate brown furnishings serve as a backdrop for etched glass dividers and vibrant artwork. A wealth of steaks and chops is available, including striploin, filet, ribeye, and pork and venison. Rotisserie chicken, tuna, lamb, crab legs, and ribs also vie for your attention. Each item on the menu is a la carte, so baked potatoes and side dishes are all priced individually. A nice selection of wines, scotches and cognacs is available, along with after-dinner coffees, ports and desserts. |

Description:
A rugged interior characterized by natural woods and a bank of windows sets the scene at this perennial favorite. The house specialty, prime rib, is aged 21 days and comes in a range of sizes, as does the Delmonico (or Spencer) steak. You'll also find baby back ribs, burgers, beef stew, pasta and rainbow trout. Portions for kids and seniors are easily accommodated, and an all-you-can-eat salad bar takes care of those who want to graze on vegetables. At the loft lounge, guests are invited to have a drink, hang out with friends, and enjoy the ambience. A bit out of town but worth the drive. |
