Description: OUTLYING AREAS. This gallery, combined with a gift shop, is located at the Maligne Canyon visitor center. It features high-quality works crafted by Native American artisans, especially carvings of stone and ivory. Many of the pieces are substantially-sized. You'll also find large-scale bronze sculptures of American origin, and paintings by Canadian artists, such as Norval Morrisseau. Ammolite jewelry is also available. The exquisite pieces command high prices and aren't your typical souvenir items, aside from what the setting may lead you to believe.

It has been in existence for approximately 30 years and carries a wide selection of bold artwork and sensuous stone sculptures. Jade carvings, bronze sculptures, and jewelry (ammolite, turquoise) also make an appearance, along with a plethora of wall art that revels in graphic color contrasts and flowing lines.
