Description:
This annual two-day event is a much anticipated one that's perfect for those who love the outdoors. In fact, it's been described by some as the ultimate winter event. It's the world's longest cross-country ski tour. It was formed in 1967 and has been going strong ever since. The trails run from Lachuteto to Gatineau with a stop for a night's rest in Montebello. Skiers can go at their own pace and ski for the distance comfortable to them. |

Description:
Every year, flocks of Canadian geese descend on Plaisance National Park during late April to early May. The park is on the path of their northbound spring migration. It's quite a spectacle to behold: approximately one hundred thousand geese taking temporary refuge among the marshes and grassbeds of the beautiful park that's located just west of Montebello. |
