10Best Swiss
Bavaria Restaurant
(Restaurants - Swiss)
4369 Main St Unit 101, Whistler  V0N 1B4 • 604-932-7518
Distance: ~0.776 km *
Description: WHISTLER VILLAGE. Bavaria specializes in – surprise! – hearty German and Austrian cuisine. Take your pick from a menu full of comfortable things like schnitzel and spaetzle, sauerbraten and pepper steak. Fondues are probably the biggest draw, however. In fact, you can get an entire three-course meal of nothing but fondues: traditional Swiss cheese, Asian style broth or oil, and chocolate, all with appropriate dippers. To accompany your meal, there's a nice selection of German and French wines, German beers and schnapps. Service can be hit-or-miss, but the food is quite good.

Crêpe Montagne
(Restaurants - Swiss)
4368 Main St, Whistler  V0N 1B4 • 604-905-4444
Distance: ~0.776 km *
Description: WHISTLER VILLAGE. Crêpe Montagne's alpine vibe is almost as appealing as its food! Since opening in 1997, the restaurant has managed to win plenty of fans, who adore starting (or ending) their days here. And really, what's not to like about these thin, delicate little pancakes, rolled up with all sorts of tasty tidbits? Not everything on the menu is crêpe-based, though – you can choose from fondue, raclette, and traditional meat-and-potatoes type dishes as well. Desserts, of course, are sublime. There's just something winning about a chocolate- and strawberry- stuffed crêpe, or a flaming crêpe swimming in Grand Marnier sauce.
