ST GEORGE'S PARISH. In 1936, the Cristóbal Colón, a 480-foot Spanish luxury cruiser, ran aground off the coast of Bermuda. The ship now lies in 30 to 55 feet of water on a reef between North Rock and North Breaker. It's the largest known shipwreck in Bermuda's waters and a haven for eager divers. |

ST GEORGE'S PARISH. The wreck of this 165-foot steam ship attracts grouper, lobster, crabs, coral shrimp, queen angelfish and many other brightly colored ocean species. The ship foundered in 1985, roughly one mile off Warwick Long Bay on the south shore. The ship now lies in 80 feet of water. |
