Description:
ST. MICHAEL PARISH. Located about a mile from downtown Bridgetown, Barbados's cruise ship terminal doubles as a fine duty-free shopping arcade. With about 25 shops and numerous stalls, the variety is quite good: bargain hunters can find deals on jewelry, china, crystal, linen, clothing, music and assorted other items, most of which are duty-free. Just outside is a chattel village where shopaholics will be pleased to find a plethora of locally made arts and crafts. |
