La Petite Belgique
(Restaurants - Continental)
Diana Cir Plaza Marbella, Acapulco  • 744-484-7725
Description: This family-run restaurant serves continental cuisine with a Belgian emphasis on fresh seafood and shellfish. Start with creamy goose liver pâté, then do yourself a favor and order a pot of steaming mussels – they're flown in daily from the proprietor's mussel farm in Baja California. Although the menu changes seasonally, several non-seafood items are staples. Almond and mushroom-stuffed duck served in a sauce of white wine and mushrooms is excellent. Save room for dessert – a full French bakery is on site and prepares homemade sweets every day. Top off your meal with an espresso or cordial. Reservations recommended.
