Description:
Freewheeling, high flying and dead serious freeski and snowboard competitions take place on the huge jumps built up on the south side of Johannsen pitch next to the pedestrian village. Qualifying runs take place on Friday and Saturday as top snowboarders and freeskiers compete to get as much "air time" as possible, seemingly hanging in the atmosphere above the colorful rooftops of the village. The main event happens on Saturday night, complete with music. The winner walks off with bragging rights and a hefty purse. |

Description:
For the fastest downhill action you'll ever see without skis, plan to be a spectator at this annual competition for top mountain bikers. Tremblant's ski courses are turned over to high-performance two wheelers that seemingly take flight on both cross country and downhill courses. World class athletes are drawn to the dizzying downhill trail and the spectacular challenge of the 9.6 kilometer circuit at the base of the mountain. Also during competition weekend, spectators can partake of milder thrill seeking with bike tours, entertainment and exhibits. |

Just after mid-summer, on June 24th to be exact, there is another reason for Mont-Tremblant and the whole province of Quebec to celebrate. Le Fête Nationale du Québec officially commemorates the feast of Jean Baptiste (John the Baptist), patron saint of French Canadians. Live music outdoors in the village, as well as impromptu bursts of singing and dancing are there for all to observe or participate. |
