        Description: KAHULUI. This central street in Lahaina is one of the town's busiest areas, not least of all because it runs along the waterfront. A plethora of restaurants and shops takes advantage of the views and the location, which is breezy and accessible. This is also the place to find the town's many prestigious art galleries. They welcome browsing and are open late to accommodate passers-by.

        Description: LAHAINA. Set along the waterfront, this entertainment and shopping complex sports a theater, a host of restaurants, and shopping for a variety of needs. One of the most impressive features of the Center is its re-creation of a Hawaiian village (Hale Kahiko), which is open weekdays for touring. Among the businesses you'll find are Gap, Banana Republic, and a host of specialty shops. Free hula performances are available during the week, too.

        Description: KAHULUI. Minutes away from the Kahului Airport, this shopping center counts several large chain stores among its tenants. One of the newest shopping arenas on the island, the Marketplace doesn't have a great deal of character, but it does serve residents' needs.

One of the most enticing prospects is the variety of prepared foods and homemade treats you can buy and munch on as you walk. Also a great place to find souvenirs.

Jewelry, gifts, artwork, and clothing are all available, and names like Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co share space with Gap, Banana Republic, and Wolf Camera. You'll also find restaurants and specialty shops added to the mix. A shuttle runs from area resorts to the shopping center for the convenience of hotel guests.

        Description: LAHAINA. This fashionable shopping center has a lot going for it, including a beachside location, hula performances, hip restaurants, and a variety of upscale shopping. A whaling museum on the premises makes a nice diversion for those who weren't born with the shopping gene, and a resident sand sculptor amazes visitors with his creations. Among the shops you'll find are Prada, Chanel, Christian Dior, Ferragamo, and Versace. A host of specialty shops, along with clothing and jewelry stores, is also available. Shuttles run in the immediate area for free and along the western coast for variable fees.
