Description:
Just over the border in Quebec is Camp Fortune, an outdoor sports wonderland. In the winter there are three separate areas for skiing and snowboarding. There are a total of 23 runs with at least two for every skill level. Combination passes are available for Camp Fortune and nearby Mont Ste-Marie (both have the same owners). In the summer, you have two exciting choices: more than 20 miles of mountain biking trails, and the Aerial Experience, a thrilling treetop course of zip lines and suspended bridges. |

Description:
Home of the Canada Agriculture Museum, the Central Experimental Farm is located southwest of downtown. Families adore visiting the farm, whether it's to tour the exquisite gardens and greenhouses or visit the farm itself, which is home to all types of cows, pigs, sheep, goats and horses. The expanse along the Rideau Canal and overlooking Dows Lake is a favorite "stomping ground" of local walkers, joggers and cyclists. The nearby Agriculture Museum, housed in an early 20th century barn, contains a variety exhibits, including several pieces of old farm machinery. |
