This clean-lined restaurant, accented with shoji screens and Asian textiles, takes Japanese culinary traditions seriously, whether it's the numerous hot entrees or the carefully-prepared sushi rolls. Starters include steamed dumplings, tofu salad, and deep-fried oysters. Main courses feature tempura dishes, stir-fries, and katsu (breaded cutlets of pork, chicken or beef). The selection of sushi includes nigiri (tuna, arctic surf clam and yellow tail) and maki (California roll, octopus roll and tuna roll). If you're in the mood for something warm and satisfying, the hot pots are delicious, as is the grilled fish. Choose from salmon, smelt, black cod and mackerel. Options for vegetarians are also available. |

Description:
The kimchi (also known as kim chee) is excellent, and while the food overall may not be the most authentic you've ever had, it's certainly tasty and satisfying. There's a good selection of Korean-style noodle dishes, barbecue ribs, stews and soups, and lovely stir-fried veggie and chicken, squid or shrimp combos that are sure to please in this town of steaks and buffalo burgers. Small but comfortable and welcoming. |

This tiny venue sports tiled walls in white and burgundy, along with a central sushi bar. Patrons sit either at tables along the perimeter or at the small bar, watching the sushi as it's prepared by skilled chefs.
